During November 2022, gaming operators in New Jersey recorded a revenue of $441.1M, showing a marginal increase of only 0.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
In November, the gaming win from New Jersey’s nine licensed casinos amounted to $214.6M, showing a 3.7% growth compared to the previous year. However, there was a significant decline of 29.9% in gross sports betting revenue compared to November 2021.
In the meantime, the casinos have recorded a total win of $2.57 billion so far this year, showing a growth of 9.7% compared to the same period last year. Overall, the revenue from all gaming activities has witnessed a strong increase of 9.8% year-to-date. On the other hand, sports wagering has generated $675.3 million during this period, experiencing a decline of 10.8% compared to the same period in 2021.
The rapid expansion of online gaming in New Jersey is evident as internet gaming produced a substantial $146.2M, marking a 23.9% increase compared to the previous year. The year-to-date total for online gaming reached an impressive $1.51B, reflecting a 22.5% growth compared to the same period last year.
